Falk Horizontal Shaft Backstops are used to prevent reverse rotation in applications like incline conveyors, bucket elevators, fans, rotary pumps, and kilns.

- Operational temperature is a maximum of 200 degrees Fahrenheit
- Falk Horizontal Shaft Backstops can be used for indexing service, defined as a continuous cyclic or periodic application of the backsto.
- Axial retaining collars, which are required to prevent the backstop from moving on the shaft, either off the shaft or toward the head shaft bearing
- Axial retaining collars are manufactured to fit the backstop and the shaft and can be fitted on either side of the backstop
- Allows the collar to be mounted on the shaft inside of the backstop if required by the application
Be sure to choose the right lubrication for your application and for the backstop. Determine the minimum and maximum ambient temperature that the backstop will operate in and use the right lubricant for the particular size and temperature range.
